Effective Interior Fitouts and Furniture Design At The Abreeza Place
At some point in a condo interior designer’s life we will need to communicate our design with reason and deliberate logic, not just beauty and aesthetics. This is one of the challenges we faced in designing our clients condo units at the Abreeza Place. It is not just about making your condo unit look cool. It has to make an overall impact. One is that the furniture has to be designed in line with the client’s lifestyle and needs.
Either throughout the design stages or during construction, till the completion and delivery, we keep our client who is a condo unit owner at the Abreeza Place involved and engaged in these many phases, enabling a seamless project flow.
After months of closely working together, we have finally completed the project. And with this eye-opening experience, we’d like to share some of the key points in designing an effective interior fit out and custom furniture design for the real estate industry. Davao architecture firms, get ready to take notes:
Harmony and Unity
When planning for a condo unit’s interior design, CP Design and Architecture sees the structure as a whole; a collection of areas connected by dividing walls and doors. As a result, a consistent aesthetic and concept runs throughout. This is not to imply that all interior design components should be the same, but they should function together and compliment each other to reinforce the overall composition. Color may be used to create this theme or plot. Color schemes in general are an excellent method to unite a group of places. This concept is very much applied to small condo units we have designed where in the living room, kitchen, and dinning room are all in one section of the condo.
The Center of Attention
Boredom is the worst enemy of interior design. A well-designed space will always have one or more focus points, depending on its size. A focus point must be both dominating and intriguing in order to grab the viewer's attention and entice them to explore deeper. As a result, a focal point must not only leave a lasting impression, but it must also be an essential element of the decorating, related by scale, style, color, or subject. When we talk of a room focal point, most people think of a fireplace or a flat screen television.
Davao interior fit-out designers know the limitation of designing a condo unit. Having a fireplace is not an option, we may create a natural focal point by emphasizing a certain piece of furniture, artwork, or simply painting a contrasting color in one area. This is where our custom furniture designer shows off what would be best craft-based material that supports daily activities and provides aesthetics. However, we have to maintain balance so that the focused area does not take up all of your attention.
Rhythm
When we talk about music, we define rhythm as the beat or pulse of the song. Rhythm in interior design is all about visual pattern repetition. Rhythm is described as a pattern of movement that is continuous, recurring, or structured. When we include these elements into a design, we consider repetition, progression, transition, and contrast. Using these processes it will give your environment a sense of movement, moving the eye from one design feature to the next.
Contrast
Finally, contrast is a simple concept. This design approach is distinguished by the incongruity of two components, such as black and white cushions on a sofa. Formal contrasts, such as circles and squares used together, can also imply opposition. Contrast may be extremely startling, yet it is commonly utilized to invigorate a room. Take cautious not to ruin any hard work you've done with the other techniques by applying too much contrast!
